DugloApps is operated by Ali Umer. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the DugloApps website and all DugloApps mobile applications listed on this website.
Most learning features work without creating an account. The exact data processed can depend on the app version, device settings, country or region, consent choices, and whether you use advertising-supported or premium features.
2. Information we handle
Learning progress and preferences
Lesson progress, learned words, quiz results, streaks, daily goals, selected voice, theme choices, onboarding status, and similar app preferences may be stored locally on your device. This information is used to operate the app and is not intended to identify you personally.
Purchases and subscriptions
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We may receive product identifiers, transaction or subscription status, entitlement information, and restore-purchase results needed to unlock premium features. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Advertising, consent, and device information
Free versions of some apps use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google's consent tools. Depending on your region, device settings, app version, and consent, Google and its partners may process information such as IP address, device or app identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted, approximate location derived from IP address, ad interactions, and diagnostics. On Apple devices, tracking permission is requested through App Tracking Transparency where required. Choosing not to allow tracking does not prevent you from using the app's core learning features.
Support and feedback
If you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your email address, app name, device details, screenshots, and message. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive information.
Website information
This portfolio website is hosted using Firebase Hosting. Hosting providers may process standard technical request information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs to deliver and protect the website. The current website stores only your selected color palette and light/dark preference in your browser's local storage; it does not use advertising cookies.
3. How we use information
- Provide lessons, audio, quizzes, progress tracking, and other app features.
- Remember settings and restore premium access.
- Display and measure advertising where applicable and permitted.
- Comply with consent, privacy, fraud-prevention, security, and legal requirements.
- Respond to support requests and improve reliability.
4. Third-party services and sharing
Information may be processed by service providers only as needed to provide their services, including:
- Apple: App Store distribution, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and device privacy controls. Read Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Google: AdMob advertising, consent management, and Firebase Hosting. Read Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites and apps.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse or fraud, or protect our rights. We do not sell personal information directly to data brokers.
5. Data retention
Local learning data remains on your device until you reset the app, clear its data, or uninstall it. Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Apple and Google retain information according to their own policies.
6. Your choices and controls
- Use Apple's App Tracking Transparency setting to allow or deny tracking.
- Use the in-app consent controls, when shown, to manage advertising choices.
- Manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
- Delete locally stored learning data by using an available reset option or uninstalling the app.
- Clear this website's saved theme by clearing site data in your browser.
- Contact us to ask about information you previously sent through support.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Third-party providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
8. Children's privacy
Our language-learning apps are designed for a general audience and do not require users to provide a name, birth date, or account profile to access core lessons. We do not knowingly ask children to send personal information directly to us. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information through support, they may contact us to request deletion.
9. Your legal rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. These rights can be limited where the information is controlled by Apple, Google, or another provider, in which case you should use that provider's privacy tools.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated date at the top indicates the latest revision. Material changes may also be communicated within an app or through its store listing where appropriate.
